Jerry Anders Jerry Anders, Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Anders joined Ironhawk in 2005, bringing with him more than 18 years of highly diverse engineering and software development experience in both Fortune 500 and early-stage technology companies, as well as extensive experience building and leading teams of up to 100 engineers. In his role as CTO, he is primarily responsible for Ironhawk's technology strategy, product architecture and design, software development, and professional services.

Prior to Ironhawk, Mr. Anders had executive technology roles with numerous successful startups developing advanced web-based architectures. Most recently, he was co-founder and CTO of the Javeo Corporation, where he conceived of and developed a browser-based user interface and web services platform that rivaled desktop applications in look, feel, and capability. Prior to that, he was CIO and senior vice president at Neutility, where he oversaw the development, manufacture and implementation of their patent-pending high density blade-based computers. Prior to that, Mr. Anders was senior vice president of engineering at Tonbu, where he lead the engineering team through architecture and development of their best-in-class engineering and manufacturing outsourcing collaborative portal.

Mr. Anders worked at Lockheed (which had become Lockheed-Martin) for over 10 years, starting with his development of Lockheed's groundbreaking 3-D computer-aided design program, for which he was awarded a prestigious Lockheed sponsored industry/university fellowship at Georgia Tech. Upon completion of his graduate studies, he joined Lockheed's advanced technology group to pursue his passion for developing software to enhance the process of aircraft conceptual design and development. He later transferred to Lockheed's famed Skunk Works where he co-developed an AI-based software package used for rapid design synthesis and trade study analysis and built and led significant engineering teams from the ground up. The software was instrumental in securing several winning proposals for Lockheed, including the billion-dollar joint strike fighter program (JSF). Mr. Anders' career with Lockheed culminated with his participation in the creation and success of NexPrise—a Lockheed spin-off that received seed funding from DARPA, and which was founded to pioneer on-line collaborative procurement of complex components and parts. NexPrise's customer list included such companies as Ford, Rocketdyne, Texas Instruments, Lockheed, and other Fortune 500 companies.

Mr. Anders holds both Master and Bachelor of Science degrees in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
