Ironhawk Awarded $50 Million Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) From The U.S. Department of Defense

BPA for Enterprise Software Initiative covers all Ironhawk SmartSync® DCS Platform Editions and Modules; also authorizes purchase by Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, NATO, NSA, U.S. Coast Guard and all DoD components through GSA and by authorized DoD contractors and Federal agencies

LOS ANGELES – February 7, 2011 – Ironhawk Technologies, Inc., the global leader in delivering decision critical data over narrow band satellite communication networks, today announced that on February 4, 2011, it was awarded Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) #W91QUZ-11-A-0003, by the United States Department of Defense (DoD). The contract’s estimated value is $50 million. The award is being posted by the Federal Government to http://www.esi.mil and https://chess.army.mil/ascp/commerce/index.jsp. This BPA authorizes the purchase of all of the following (no competitive acquisition process is required):

  • Ironhawk’s industry-leading SmartSync® DCS Platform, which both reduces cost and increases productivity by integrating compression, transport, synchronization and content management. This enables the fast, accurate, guaranteed delivery of heterogeneous, complex data under all bandwidth constraints encountered across the global theater.
  • All editions and modules available as part of the SmartSync® DCS Platform
  • A full complement of professional engineering services encompassing analysis, design, development, integration, implementation, testing, software support, maintenance and on-site training.

The BPA is immediately applicable to:

  • All DoD-authorized component purchasing authorities, including those governing: the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD); the Military Departments; the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff; the Unified Combatant Commands; the Inspector General of the Department of Defense (DoD IG); the Defense Agencies; the DoD Field Activities; the U. S. Coast Guard; NATO; the Intelligence Community; and FMS with a Letter of Authorization.
  • All GSA and other applicable ordering organizations/agencies on behalf of DoD end users subject to compliance with DFARS 208.7400.
  • All U.S. Government contractors performing work for a DoD end user if authorized by their cognizant Contracting Officer in accordance with the requirements of FAR 51 and/or DFARS 251 as appropriate.
  • All United States Federal Agencies pursuant to this BPA’s designation as a DoD ESI and GSA SmartBUY Contract
